29 CFR 1910.151(b): In the absence of an infirmary, clinic, or hospital in near proximity to the workplace which is used for the treatment of all injured employees, a person or persons shall be adequately trained to render first aid. Adequate first aid supplies shall be readily available. a. On or about June 15, 2017, located at 5716 King Road SW in Stone Creek, Ohio, the employer did not ensure adequately trained personnel were onsite to render proper first aid for heat-related illnesses. An unacclimatized employee succumbed to a heat stroke the first day on the job.
