29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(22): Employees using ladders were carrying objects or loads that could cause the employee to lose balance and fall: 350 West Water Street, Rockland, MA: Employees were climbing a fiberglass extension ladder carrying solar panels that were approximately forty-two (42) inches wide by seventy-two (72) inches long weighing approximately fifty (50) pounds to the roof of the house. This could cause the employee to lose balance and fall up to twenty-two (22) feet to the ground below. Vivint Solar, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1189016, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on May 30, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 8023 Buist Avenue, Philadelphia, PA.
