29 CFR 1910.110(f)(2)(i): Containers in storage shall be located so as to minimize exposure to excessive temperature rise, physical damage, or tampering by unauthorized persons. 101 North Main Street, Newark, Illinois, west building shop, east entrance: on or about May 4, 2017, Propylene cylinders were not stored securely to prevent falling and being struck-by moving forklifts in the immediate area, and were placed together with Acetylene and Oxygen cylinders. Employees working in the area were exposed to explosion and fire hazards resulting from physical damage. There is no abatement documentation or certification required for this item.
