29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed: A.) On or about July 24, 2017 at 30-08 30th Avenue, Astoria, NY 11102 (31st Street Emergency Exit Door) An emergency exit route from the basement to the 1st floor of the building was blocked with a permanently installed conveyor belt preventing prompt and safe egress of employees from the building in the event of a fire and/or other emergency. KAMAL CORPORATION DBA TRADE FAIR SUPERMARKETS INC. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 898233, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1(b) AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON 10/23/2014, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 30-08 30TH AVENUE, ASTORIA, NY 11102.
