29 CFR 1910.36(d)(1): Employee(s) were not able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge: A.) On or about July 26, 2017 at 23-55 Broadway, Astoria, NY 11106 (1st Floor-Produce Department) An emergency exit door located on the 1st floor of the building was observed locked and secured with a horizontally placed wooden bar preventing the prompt and safe egress of employees from the building in the event of a fire and/or other emergency. 89-02 FOOD CORP. DBA TRADE FAIR SUPERMARKET WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD 1910.36(d)(1), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 901538, CITATION NUMBER 01, ITEM NUMBER 001(a) AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON 10/23/2014, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 89-02 37th AVENUE, JACKSON HEIGHTS, NY 11372.
