29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2)(ii): Unstable objects were used to support scaffolds or platform units. a) Jobsite - The employer does not ensure that scaffolding is supported on stable objects. This violation was most recently observed at the property 827 North 26th Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19130 on or about 20 MARCH 2017 where employees were performing bricklaying operations up to eighteen (18) feet above the ground from a fabricated frame scaffold that was not resting on a stable surface. To abate this ongoing violation, the employer must ensure that each supporting leg of the scaffold is resting on a stable surface.
