29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling: a. 630 Sullivan Rd, Elizabeth, NJ - Manager Desk adjacent to door 60 The employer authorized the use of relocatable power taps (power strips) in a manner not intended by the manufacturer. Employees used the power taps in an industrial setting with other power taps and extension cords series connected to provide power to computer equipment, fans, and other appliances. The power tap was mounted to the desk using wire zip ties. Violation observed on or about May 19, 2017 b. 630 Sullivan Rd, Elizabeth, NJ - Mobile desk adjacent to UNL7 The employer authorized the use of relocatable power taps (power strips) in a manner not intended by the manufacturer.
