29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) At 301 McMeans Ave. Bay Minette, Alabama: On or about March 6, 2017 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to perform roofing activities from a high slope without fall protection exposing his employees to a fall hazard of 16.4 feet to the ground below. THE JOHN STACEY ROOFING, LLC WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.501(B)(13), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 768801, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON JANUARY 24, 2013, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 54 KINGSWOOD DR., MOBILE, ALABAMA.
