OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to explosion hazards and sharp particles flying in the air when PVC pipe was used as a compressed air line to provide compressed air to staple guns. On or about February 22, 2017, employees were exposed to explosion and sharp flying particles in the air when PVC pipe was used to provide compressed air for the staple guns at the door tables. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
