29 CFR 1926.702(h): Bull float handles, used where they might contact energized electrical conductors, were not constructed of nonconductive material or insulated with a nonconductive sheath whose electrical and mechanical characteristics provided the equivalent protection of a handle constructed of nonconductive material: On or about February 17, 2017, at the above addressed job site, an employee who was finishing concrete on an elevated surface received electrical shock and burns, when the conductive handle of a bull float contacted overhead energized power lines.
