Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: On or about February 24, 2017, at the above addressed worksite, employees were working/walking in and around the areas within a commercial bakery plant, which contained steel storage racks/pallet racks, which were loaded with various palletized bakery products, wherein the racks were found to have structural defects, therefore exposing the employees to collapsing storage racks and falling palletized load hazards. NOTE: CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
