29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that was 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling by one or more of the following: Guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) On or about February 21, 2017, in building 1, the old dock area, where employees are fabricating hunting blinds and feeders, employees were working and walking near the edge of the old dock and not protected from a fall. Employees exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 4 feet 4 inches. b) On or about February 21, 2017, in building 1, in the yard area, employees fabricate hunting blinds and feeders and at times use a shop-built work platform. The platform is missing a complete guardrail system to protect employees from falling. Employees exposed to a fall hazard of approximately six feet and seven inches.
