29 CFR 1910.37(a)(4): Safeguard(s) designed to protect employees during an emergency (e.g., sprinkler systems, alarm systems, fire doors, exit lighting), were not in proper working order at all times: Location: Engine Room, 500 Fenimore Road, Mamaroneck, NY 10543 On or about 11/14/16 a) A dual head emergency lighting fixture did not operate when the test button was activated. The battery back up used to power the exit lighting in the event of a power failure was not functioning. b) A combination dual head emergency lighting, illuminated exit sign fixture did not operate when the test button was activated. The battery back up used to power the exit lighting in the event of a power failure was not functioning.
