29 CFR 1910.213(i)(1): Non-working portion(s) of the blade of bandsaw(s) were not enclosed or guarded: Employees were exposed to amputation injuries in the Wood Room. The guard for the Powermatic vertical band saw blade was not adjusted to cover the unused portion of the blade above the Triton head board piece during cutting operations. On or about February 6, 2017, an employee received cuts to their hand from coming into contact with the band saw blade.
