29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program was understood by employees: a. On or about January 25, 2017, the employer did not ensure employees were trained in the purpose and function of the energy control program. Employees were required to adjust the gripper on the (30-0021) Fanuc Robot inside the #73 Cincinnati Milacron plastic injection molding press and were not adequately trained in proper lock out procedures, exposing them to crushing hazards from the press and struck by hazards of the robot.
