29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): On or about January 12, 2017: a. In the Production Side 1 building where employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while using a Panalpina machine without a point of operation guard for the three nail guns. b. In the Production Side 1 building where employees were exposed to struck-by and caught-by hazards while using Stake Machine #1 without a point of operation guard for the ejection pineapple roller. c. In the Production Side 1 building where employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while using Newman Trim Saw #1 without a point of operation guard for the trim saw blade. d. In the Production Side 1 building where employees were exposed to struck-by and caught-by hazards while using a Hazlethorn brand pallet notcher without a point of operation guard for the notcher blade.
