OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that an employee was exposed to a struck-by hazard while cutting a branch: At the condominium complex located at 758 Village Circle, Venice, FL, on January 12, 2017: a) A landscaper was standing approximately 6 feet high on a 24 foot ladder cutting a tree branch without the use of a tag line to control the direction in which the branch would fall.
