29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a. On or about January 6, 2017, employees sheathing the floor deck of a 2 story residential construction project were not protected by any means of personal fall protection, guardrails or safety nets, and were exposed to an 11 foot fall hazard. b. On or about January 6, 2017, Employees constructing an exterior wall of a two story residential project, were not protected from falling through holes more than 6 feet (1.8 m) above lower levels, by personal fall arrest systems, covers, or guardrail systems erected around the floor opening.
