29 CFR 1910.101(b): The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tank cars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks were not in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in CFR 1910.6: (a) Front Store, Near Windows: One compressed gas helium cylinder was missing a valve protection cap, on or about 12/1/2016. Refer to the Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965 sections 3.2.1 and 3.3.8. (b) Stockroom, Next to Manager's Office: Two compressed gas helium cylinders were missing the valve protection caps , on or about 12/1/2016. Refer to the Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965 sections 3.2.1 and 3.3.8. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
