29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. a. At the construction site located at Building F, 3717 Orders Road, Grove City, Ohio, employees were performing framing work on the roof of a one story senior living residential facility with a pitch of approximately 6 in 12 and approximately 10 feet in height with no fall protection, thereby exposing the employees to a fall hazard. The K&F Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1104453, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 18, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at Coombs Farm Estates, Morgantown, West Virginia.
