29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladder(s) were used for purposes other than the purpose for which they were designed: (a) 1300 North Market St. (Residence Inn, Wilmington Construction) - On or about November 25, 2016, the employer failed to ensure employees used a ladder for its intended purpose, exposing employees, who were using a portable stepladder, with its spreaders unlocked and fully closed, to access sills within open window frames approximately 60 feet above the ground, to a fall hazard. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION OR DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED.
