29 CFR 1910.22(a)(2): Floor(s) of workroom(s) were not maintained in a clean and, so far as possible, a dry condition: a) USA #149 roll former - On November 16, 2016, Interlake Mecalux, Inc. did not ensure that the area located around the end of the line was maintained in a dry condition. Metalworking fluid used to cool the metal on this roll former was accumulated on the floor where the beams were being stacked. Interlake Mecalux, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.22(a)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 943088, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 22, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 1600 N. 25th Ave., Melrose Park, IL 60161. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
