Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.151(b): In the absence of an infirmary, clinic, or hospital in near proximity to the workplace which is used for the treatment of all injured employees, a person or persons were not adequately trained to render first aid. Adequate first aid supplies shall be readily available. a) On or about September 30, 2016, at the main office and in work vehicles at the nursery farm; the employer did not ensure that first aid kits were properly maintained and restocked with supplies specific to the needs of their workplace. The employer also failed to ensure that there was someone at the site that was adequately trained to render first aid for the treatment of injured employees.
