29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: (a) Kitchen Area: A relocatable power tap connected to an electrical extension cord and supplying power to two Kitchen Aid Blenders, was used in place of permanent fixed wiring. (b) Water Treatment Tank Area: A relocatable power tap connected to a short electrical extension cord "Y" splitter was used in place of permanent fixed wiring to supply power to Eco Lab water treatment equipment. This 'Y' splitter short extension cord was plugged into an electrical outlet.
