29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: (a) Location 21 Adams Street, Lexington, MA: On or about 10/24/16, the employer failed to ensure that protective equipment was used when an employee accessed a 9-foot roof to perform roof cleaning. Ned Stevens Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 1910.132(a) or Section 5(a)(1) of the OSH Act, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 950211, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 2/5/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 133 Riverview Avenue, North Arlington, NJ.
