29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open sided floor(s) or platform(s) 4 feet or more above the adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded by standard railings (or the equivalent as specified in 29 CFR 1910.23(e)(3)(i) through (v)), on all open sides: a) FCA U.S. LLC. located at 4400 Chrysler Dr. Toledo, OH, 43608, on or about October 12, 2016, the employer did not ensure that an open sided floor, approximately 8 feet above the adjacent floor, was guarded on all open sides. Employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 8 feet into an open pit on the Cert line. c) FCA U.S. LLC. located at 4400 Chrysler Dr. Toledo, OH, 43608, on or about August 10, 2016, the employer did not ensure that an open sided floor approximately 8 feet above the adjacent floor was guarded on all open sides. An employee suffered injury after falling approximately 8 feet into a open pit on the Cert line.
