29 CFR 1910.213(d)(1): Each circular crosscut table saw shall be guarded by a hood which shall meet all the requirements of paragraph (c)(1) of this section for hoods for circular ripsaws. (A) Employees were exposed to an amputation injury while using the Whirlwind Cut-Off Saw (Model #212) and the employer did not ensure that the saw blade was properly guarded. Pak-Rite, Ltd. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 213(d)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 942578, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on January 10, 2014 , with respect to a workplace located at 2395 South Burrell Street, Milwaukee WI 53207.
