OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees chemical splash hazards while transferring corrosive and caustic chemicals through a hose that was not designed to be used with corrosive and caustic chemicals and not securely fastened to the chemical transfer pump: Location: 3rd floor warehouse, soap room On or about 9/14/16, the employer did not ensure that the hose used to transfer the corrosive and caustic chemical, LAC-100 was designed and rated for corrosive and caustic chemicals.
