29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit routes were not free and unobstructed. No materials or equipment may be placed, either permanently or temporarily, within the exit route. a.) On or about August 18, 2016 the employer did not ensure that all exit routes were unobstructed. In the retail store area, the emergency exit door was blocked by a U-Boat/cart filled with stock to be placed on the shelves. b.) On or about August 18, 2016 the employer did not ensure that all exit routes were unobstructed. In the receiving/stock room, the route to the emergency exit door was blocked preventing employees access to the emergency door.
