29 CFR 1926.1101(f)(2)(i): The employer with a work operation covered by the asbestos standard did not ensure that a "competent person" conducted an exposure assessment immediately before or at the initiation of the operation to ascertain expected exposures during that operation or workplace: On or about July 6, 2016, an employee working at the site of Exelon Power Plant located in Morris, IL was exposed to asbestos containing material while encapsulating piping containing thermal system insulation and the employer did not ensure an initial exposure assessment was performed to determine expected exposures during the operation. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
