29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1): A written respiratory protection program that included the provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i) - (ix) with worksite specific procedures was not established and implemented for required respirator use: (a) On or about July 27, 2016, the employer failed to establish and implement a written respiratory protection program that included the provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i) - (ix) where respirator use is required. Employees who wear respirators as part of range cleaning duties are exposed to toxic substance hazards in that no provisions have been made for medical evaluation, fit testing, and training in respirator use, care, and storage. Abatement certification is required for this item; use the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET for this purpose.
