29 CFR 1910.132(h)(1): The employer did not provide the protective equipment, including personal protective equipment (PPE), used to comply with this part, at no cost to employees. a) Production Area: The employer did not provide hand protection at no cost to employees who were exposed to (harmful) temperatures from the paper plates exiting the Peerless Cutting Machines, on or about 8/17/16. b) Production Area: The employer did not provide eye protection at no cost to employees who operated the Peerless Cutting Machines, on or about 8/17/16. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
