OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees working with a finish press roller without the safety bar and limit switches checked daily, exposing the employees to the hazard of being caught and pulled into the rollers. On or about 18 June 2016, and at times prior thereto, employees working with an Alpine Finish Press Roller ran trusses through the machine without checking daily the functionality of the safety bar and limit switches prior to work, exposing the employees to the hazard of being caught in the machine.
