29 CFR 1926.451(f)(14): Makeshift devices, such as but not limited to boxes and barrels, were used on top of scaffold platforms to increase the working level height of employees: On or about June 10, 2016, Elmer Miller dba Miller Building Systems, exposes employees to fall hazards by having them use material, such as plywood, stacked on the supported scaffold platform to increase their working level height. This violation was most recently observed when four employees were standing on top of a stack of plywood on a supported scaffold platform at heights in excess of 18 ft., on a residential construction site in Mahomet, Illinois.
