29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: (a) Hanna Electrical Contracting, Inc. at 1833 E. Mulberry St., Fort Collins, CO 80524: On and before June 6, 2016, the exposing employer did not ensure that an employee who accessed and worked from the flat roof of a commercial building during the removal and installation of exterior building lighting utilized a fall protection system. The lights were located near the edge of the roof. This condition exposed the employee to a fall hazard of approximately 24 feet.
