OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to additional bodily harm or potential permanent disabling injuries that could result from the delay of the employer to notify emergency medical services. (a) In the gas room, at the facility at 50 Oxford Ave, Dudley, MA 01571, on 5/26/2016 an employee was exposed to hazards resulting from the delay in the use of professional health care services following a serious injury. Among other methods, feasible and acceptable means of abatement include, but are not limited to: Train employees to call 911 immediately after an injury that requires medical care in order to reduce the delay in the application of professional treatment.
