OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to dropping load and/or struck by hazards. a) On or about May 11, 2016, the employer failed to ensure the hooks were equipped with safety latches, exposing employees to dropping loads or struck by hazards. b) On or about May 11, 2016, the employer failed to ensure the magnets that were used daily were rated and/or inspected, exposing employees to dropping loads or struck by hazards. c) On or about May 31, 2016, the employer failed to ensure the Gemini Auto Lift was inspected on an annual basis, exposing employees to dropping loads or struck by hazards.
