29 CFR 1910.36(d)(1): Employees were not able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge: (a) Ark Woodworks Inc, at 878 Baseline Place, Brighton, CO: On 4/28/16, the employer did not ensure that employees were able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge. The emergency exits from the loading area and from the assembly area were locked from the inside. Employees did not have access to the key to unlock the emergency exit doors. This condition exposed employees to a fire hazard.
