Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not provide employment and a place of employment which were free of recognized hazards in that employees were exposed to the hazards of a powered industrial truck tipping over: At the establishment: Employee(s) using a Sky Trak powered industrial truck to move rail cars were not thoroughly trained in the safe operation of the equipment and were using the equipment for a purpose for which it was not intended or designed. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to comply with the American National Standard for Rough Terrain Forklifts, ASME B56.6. NO CERTIFICATION OR DOCUMENTATION IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ITEM.
