29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): All places of employment, passageways, storerooms or service rooms were not kept clean and orderly or in a sanitary condition. 101 North Main Street, Newark, Illinois, west building shop, northeast, Cincinnati mechanical shear #20: on or about March 1, 2016, the working area and passageways behind a Cincinnati shear were not kept in an orderly condition where numerous sharp, scrap metal pieces were littered about the floor. Employees walking by the area or passing through to get to other equipment were exposed to slip, trip and fall hazards likely to result in laceration. Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
