29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): Such programs did not provide for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment to be made by competent persons designated by the employers. On 2/05/2016, Warrenton Oil Company had a subcontractor installing veneer stone on the front of a commercial building located at 3257 County Road 211, Kingdom City, MO. Warrenton Oil Company, the general contractor, did not conduct an adequate inspection of the job site, materials, and equipment. During the inspection, employees were exposed to the following hazards: a. One employee was not wearing eye protection while using a pneumatic nail gun and cutting veneer stone. b. Three employees were working from mast scaffolding approximately twenty feet above the ground. A portion of the scaffolding was missing guardrail systems. Two employees were working in the area and were not protected by personal fall arrest systems. c. Three employees were not wearing body belts with lanyards attached to the boom or basket while operating or riding in the aerial lift.
