29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open-sided floors and/or platforms four feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded with standard railings (or equivalent) and toeboards: a.) Edge Plastics, Inc. located at 449 Newman St. Mansfield, OH 44902; On or about December 18, 2015, the employer did not assure employees were protected while adding or changing color on injection molding presses, including but not limited to Press #16. Employees are required to add or change color from the platform, and are exposed to falls of approximately 6 feet and up to 10 feet to the concrete below.
