29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program was understood by employees: a.) Safeway Packaging, Inc. located at 300 White Mountain Dr. New Bremen, OH; On or about November 18, 2015, the employer did not assure the purpose and function of the energy control program were understood. Employees are required to perform cleaning and setup activities on equipment such as, but not limited to the McKinley Rotary Die Cutter and are exposed to hazards associated with accidental startup of the equipment.
