OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to amputation hazards while working around augers: On or about October 15, 2015, employees of Breedlove Foods, Inc., were exposed to caught-in and amputation hazards while performing cleaning work around the blancher feed by the auger that was not provided with an emergency stop.
