OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. Employees were exposed to health hazards associated with anhydrous ammonia: On or about 10/16/2015, in the ammonia refrigeration area, during an ammonia release event employees were exposed to anhydrous ammonia while using the GasAlert Extreme ammonia detector that had not been calibrated and bump-tested.
