29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who was exposed to fall hazards that enabled each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. a) 380 Union St., West Springfield, MA: On or about October 5, 2015, an employee was observed roofing this building exposed to fall hazards greater than 15 feet to the ground below without using any form of fall protection. The employee was interviewed and found to be unaware of the circumstances when personal fall protection use is necessary and required during roofing activity and of the Fall Protection Standard's requirements to utilize fall protection during roofing activities.
