29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Materials or equipment were placed, either permanently or temporarily, within the exit route: a) Whitney Museum of American Art; in the basement of the facility, materials and equipment such as, but not limited to, tool boxes and large storage cabinets were placed either permanently or temporarily within the exit route, employees were exposed to hazards of smoke inhalation and delayed exit in cases of emergency. NOTE: BECAUSE ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED IN THE CASEFILE, THE EMPLOYER NEED NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATION NOR DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION AS NORMALLY REQUIRED BY 29 CFR 1903.19.
