29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): All places of employment, passageways, storerooms or service rooms were not kept clean and orderly or in a sanitary condition. On or about September 14, 2015, employees were exposed to slip hazards: a. The floor mats next to the hand wash station at the entrance to the production room were wet and slippery b. Scattered pieces of chicken near the grinding equipment were slippery if the chicken was a thick piece of chicken that was larger than the grooves in the slip resistant shoes On or about October 16, 2015, employees were exposed to slip hazards during third shift clean up: c. Clumps of batter mix that were mixed with the water on the floor during clean up were slippery d. Scattered pieces of chicken were slippery if the chicken was a thick piece of chicken that was larger than the grooves in the slip resistant shoes. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
