29 CFR 1926.757(a)(4): Where steel joists at or near columns span more than 60 feet (18.3 m), the joists were not set in tandem with all bridging installed and an alternative method of erection, which provides equivalent stability to the steel joist, was not designed by a qualified person and was not included in the site-specific erection plan. Jobsite: Bays between column lines 4 and 5. Steel joists at or near columns were not hoisted in tandem and were set 'one at a time'. The site specific steel erection plan makes no provision for the alternate erection of steel joists longer than 60 feet.
