29 CFR 1910.132(c): Personal protective equipment was not of safe design and construction for the work to be performed: On or about July 28, 2015, in Area 2 behind the Hang Line where chicken was being cut by a 9" blade on the Cantrell KFC cut-up saw machine, Model CS-100, the employer allowed an employee to operate the saw where the blade becomes exposed as the chicken is pushed (cut) into the blade. Employees were wearing stainless steel mesh gloves that had a warning tag prohibiting their use with power driven equipment.
